Civil G8 summit will take place in St. Petersburg in July 2006 simultaneously with the "real" G8 summit. It will be dedicated to the same issues as the main event - energy security, education and healthcare. Still the Civil G8 is planning to consider aspects of these topics different from those predominant at the G8 meeting, making an attempt to offer other viewpoints that may be of interest to NGO's.
