Cuban Biotechnologies

18 November 2004 - during their research trip to Cuba, a group of PIR Center experts visited, at the Cubans' invitation, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology - the largest such research institute in Cuba.

The Deputy Director of the Center, Dr. Francisco Machado, told the PIR Center experts of the recent developments at his center and about the Cuban biotechnology complex in general, as well as led them on a tour of the Center.
