Second Biennial Report of the Secretary-General on Disarmament and Non-proliferation Education

The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 59/93, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to prepare a report reviewing the results of the implementation of the recommendations of the United Nations study on disarmament and non-proliferation education and possible new promotional opportunities. It contains information from Member States, from international disarmament-related forums, from the United Nations and other international organizations, from the independent Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission and from non-governmental organizations and academic institutions. It relates that
information to the 34 recommendations made in the United Nations study.
