The issue of nuclear nonproliferation is consistently touched upon at various venues of multilateral diplomacy, and also remains on the agenda of bilateral Russia-US strategic dialogue. Strengthening of the international security architecture around the most destructive weapons is discussed both at the highest political level and in the academic community. What awaits the NPT-based nonproliferation regime? What are the challenges facing humanity in the field of nuclear nonproliferation in the 21st century? How can the international community solve these urgent problems?

We are happy to announce that on October 4, 2021 (Monday) within NONPROLIFERATION.WORLD* PIR Center will hold a public lecture on the topic The Evolving Nuclear Nonproliferation Regime: Challenges and Opportunities.

Our invited expert is Dr. William Potter, Director, James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and Sam Nunn and Richard Lugar Professor of Nonproliferation Studies Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (USA), who will give answers to these and other pressing questions during the event.
