We are going to discuss an important milestone in the history of nuclear nonproliferation ‒ the public reports of the Russian SVR dated 1993 and 1995, the preparation and public nature of which were initiated by Yevgeny Primakov. Today, these reports are an irreplaceable «handbook» for both students and experts specializing in nuclear nonproliferation. Biography :

Alexander has a Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Following his studies at Moscow State University, he worked in various government agencies, where he worked on disarmament and WMD nonproliferation issues. More recently he has been actively studying and working on international and information security. He is the editor and co-author of the monographs Information Challenges in National and International Security and Superterrorism: New Challenge for a New CenturyPIR Center Advisory Board member since 2001. Member of the PIR Center EKS Working Group on International Information Security and Global Internet Governance since 2012.
