Candidate of History, Professor. Member of the Czech Association of International Affairs, Professor of the Metropolitan University Prague. Erlier was an Associated Fellow in Royal Institute of International Affairs (also known as Chatham House, United Kingdom). Leading expert on international security issues, including energy security and arms control. His name and numerous publications on strategic armaments, tactical nuclear weapons, anti-missile defense, and missile warning systems are well known both in Russia and abroad. Headed the team of authors and wrote several chapters in the UNDP's annual Human Development Reports for the Russian Federation. Professor at MGIMO.
