On September 15, 2014 by the invitation of the President of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab, the PIR Center Director, Vladimir Orlov joined the Global Agenda Council of the WEF. He will undertake his activities at the Council over the following two-year period, from 2014 to 2016.
Within the Global Agenda Council (The Network of the Global Agenda Councils) serve leaders of the international community, including representatives of government agencies, business corporations, international organizations and research centers. The task of the Council is to search for new ideas and innovative solutions to issues on the global agenda. Members of the Global Agenda Council also participate in the development of recommendations for the Economic Forum in Davos.

From November 9 to 11, 2014, Dubai will host the annual summit, which will bring together Council members from around the world.
