“Of course the main threat for us comes from nuclear terrorism. In order to prevent it we should provide more effective protection to the nuclear materials. “The Agreement between the United States of America and the Russian Federation Concerning the Safe and Reliable Transportation, Storage and Destruction of Weapons and the Prevention of Weapons Proliferation dated June 17, 1992 expires in June 2013. We must work out a new agreement and lay the tracks for the development of Russian-US cooperation in nuclear security and nonproliferation.
