Oleg Demidov graduated from the School of Public Administration at Moscow State University of Lomonosov in 2010. Currently, Oleg has been working on his Ph.D thesis at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University). In 2011-2012, he held the position of Project Coordinator at Center for Political and International Studies (CPIS) under the International Federation for Peace and Conciliation. In 2012-2016, he has served as an expert to the Commission on Information Security and Cybercrime at the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC). He is a graduate of the International Summer School of the PIR Center for global security issues. In 2012-2014, he held the position of Director of the Program International Information Security and Global Internet Governance at PIR Center.  In 2011-2014 Oleg participated in the international project “A Twenty-First Century Concert of Powers” conducted by Frankfurt Peace Research Institute (PRIF). In 2018, being a Head of the Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund, he collaborated with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in developing projects for digital transformation of the Republic's economy. From February 2019 to February 2020, he was a Cyber Portfolio Researcher at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). Currently, he is an independent researcher. Since 2015, he has been working with the PIR Center as a freelance consultant. Erlier was an Associated Fellow in Royal Institute of International Affairs (also known as Chatham House, United Kingdom). Leading expert on international security issues, including energy security and arms control. His name and numerous publications on strategic armaments, tactical nuclear weapons, anti-missile defense, and missile warning systems are well known both in Russia and abroad. Headed the team of authors and wrote several chapters in the UNDP's annual Human Development Reports for the Russian Federation. Professor at MGIMO. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Eugene Miasnikov was graduated from the Department of Aerophysics and Space Research of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 1985. In 1989 he got his Ph. Degree in Physics from MIPT. His dissertation was devoted to the problem of polarized laser light propagation in ocean water. Subsequently, until the end of 1991, he worked in the Scientific Production Association "ELAS" (Zelenograd) as an expert in remote sensing of the ocean from airborne and space platforms. In 1992, Eugene was a visiting fellow at the Defense and Arms Control Studies Program (currently, Security Studies Program) of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied current state-of-the-art of submarine detection and its impact on strategic stability in the world. Since 1992 Evgene Miasnikov has been working in the Center for Arms Control, Energy and Environmental Studies, and an active participant of the Center's research projects. In 2011 Eugene was elected the Director of the Center. PIR Center Advisory Board member since 2011. Member of the Sustainable Partnership with Russia (SuPR) Group since 2013.

Formerly Acting Secretary General and Director of Research of OPEC. Dr. Shihab-Eldin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science degree, and a Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Shihab-Eldin was Director of the Division for Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Department of Technical Co-operation, at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria. Prior to joining the IAEA, he served as Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Science and Technology (Cairo) and as the UNESCO Representative in Egypt, Sudan, and Yemen. From 1976 to 1986 he was the Director General of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, serving concurrently until 1980 as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Kuwait University.
